Is it just me?
Richard OFfill:
Is it just me but do women have longer prayers than men?
Raven:
You haven't heard our pastor. :-D Our conference prayer ministries leader is a woman and I'd say her prayers are not any longer on average than his. Seems I recall a SOP quote to the effect that our public prayers should be short and to the point. Our long and involved prayers should be restricted to our closet.
Richard OFfill:
In our church women offer more main prayers than men. I asked my wife about it and she said it is because the men don't want to pray.

I suspect this is true.

I believe it depends on the individual...
if we look at council, we are advised to keep them short and to the point.
