Said Christ of the unbelieving Jews,
Have you ever considered that the 'Shaking Time' may include those who are shaken out of the church while they still go to church? This kind of person still attends church but has given up believing and living what the church teaches. They may include a Sabbath School teacher, the head elder or even the pastor. They are like termites, destroyers of not only their own faith but the faith of others as well. In other words they share their lack of faith!
As one poster already mentioned about Adventist Today and Spectrum - it is utterly unbelievable what is going on over there at these two organizations.Adventist Today came out with the article "Letting Roman Catholics Off the Hook" in which Loren Seibold gives about 7 reasons on why we (meaning the Adventist church) should rethink the Papacy as the Antichrist of prophecy and start looking elsewhere. Why is this man not only senior pastor of the largest congregation in the Ohio Conference but he's also senior editor of Best Practices - an official e-newsletter of the NAD Church Resource Center - which goes out to who knows how many people - How is it that this man is still allowed to be an influential leader?
It's amazing to me how those two magazines of which one had a editor that lambasted Doug Batchelor for his stance on the papacy and what part they will play in the time of trouble. The name Seventh-day Adventist should be completely disassociated with these two magazines and any Pastor who teaches falsehoods and lies, or they should change their name to EX-Adventists. Otherwise I'm sure many will be lost believing what they say about true SDA's.
