"For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness...." These two verses are just another version of John 3:16, in my opinion, sort of the whole gospel in one verse.
I guess I just like the sounds of this particular verse...being rescued. And I like to replace all the "we's" in these verses with "me" as I read or say it in my mind.

The words "dominion of darkness" especially speak to me, I guess, because of the lifestyle that I lived for a number of years, so being rescued from that into a Christian lifestyle.

Colossians 1:13, 14
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Jesus has waged war in the most hand to hand way to rescue me from the inside out and deliver me and recreate me from the image of Satan, into His own divine character's image, and completely redeem me, forgive & cleanse me & in due time blot out my sins and guilt replacing it with Heaven's adoption papers & emancipation papers. What wondrous things to think about.

Grateful for Psalms 32 and Titus 2:10 While it is true that God gives the message from Scripture and SOP. The taste I give to others about the message sells it or kills it, I learn to walk it well & cook it well & eat it myself, before I preach it. Then the SDA message appeals by His righteousness.

Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
