These days disobedience reigns under the tent of human rights, and when criticized, hides behind the wall of compassion/acceptance. A society or church that has no standards of conduct is not a compassionate/accepting society any more than a parent who indulges a child's every whim is a loving parent in the Biblical sense of the word.

Compassion/acceptance that compromises evil or compassion/acceptance that is tolerant of evil is, in fact, not compassion/acceptance at all. There is a growing misunderstanding and abuse of these words which is facilitating the spread of evil.

It is time that we take up the cause, not against sinners but definitely against sin. Evil has turned the tables on righteousness. Evil has effectively put a guilt trip on righteousness, when the whole purpose of the gospel is to call sinners to repentance. Yes, it is true that the righteous must have a Godlike attitude toward sinners. But we should make no mistake, sinners must ultimately, if they are to be saved, have a God-like attitude toward sin or they will simply perish in their sins.

This is the fruit of humanism, and of several generations being taught that they evolved from pond scum and their destiny is compost.  If that were true, then morality is merely a social construct, subject to the whims of the majority.  With that philosophy there is no absolute truth, hence no sin--except of course for the sin of "intolerance."  And I'm sure most of us have noticed that those who preach "tolerance" and "acceptance" the loudest, are often the most intolerant of those who disagree with them.  And agreement is not enough; affirmation is required if one does not want to be labeled "intolerant," or some other negative term.

In Michigan there is a law being drafted that in public schools there is to be NO gender distinction other than whatever the students choose to think they are. Boys may go into the girls restroom and I'm assuming into their shower room if they think they are a girl at heart. No doubt there will be an instant increase in the amount of teenage boys that are temporarily and spontaneously, girls. Back when  I was in school such a thought never even came to mind among the people, and if it would have we would have thought the person needed mental help.

    The same law/ruling was just shot down in South Dakota. The fact that such a thing would even be so much as mentioned is ludicrous and hysterical.

For the rare student that is totally confused about their gender I think they should build a very small bathroom for the confused, that is not open to the general public.

IT shouldn't be too bad. Kids really don't shower anymore after gym class! Many schools have turned their showers into storage areas. Kids just throw on a lot of deodorant and cologne and stink the rest of the day in class. It is a frequently discussed topic in some internet groups comparing kids yesterday and kids today. The restroom thing is a whole different thing.

I believe the trend may be getting even to SDA schools. Many years ago, the men's dormitory at Loma Linda, with it's groups showers were eliminated to make way for a classroom building. They build a complex of apartments instead of a new dorm.

You are right on this one. The gay movement in the UK was involved in getting the age of consent reduced to 16 and now they are working to lower it to 14.

It is interesting that in the SOP we are told that it would largely be the labor unions that bring on a time of trouble. While most do not think of the NEA as a labor union it is one, or a least very much like one.

The papacy's new buzz word is "common."   "Common" is just  short for communism. "Common "values, "common" goals, "common" religion, and "common" core math. The papacy is in the schools.

I am no Supporter of LGBT issues! But Kris Widmer has a son Timothy Widmer who goes by the Name of Teagan on Face book who is a Transgender.   The first link is hard to understand and the last links with the pics are a bit sketchy. However, the link with Kris Widmer and wife are plenty clear. The church is definitely on a crash and burn mode. We were told this would happen.  Rather than admit that this is demonic and needs Jesus to over come it, people are moving the Bible's goal posts backward and recalibrating.

I find it interesting as a side that the name Kris, as in pastor Kris ( male) is not often used as a boys name. At least in English it is short for Kristine while Chris is short for Christopher. The exception, I'm told is that in German, Kris is or can be, short for Kristopher. I find it interesting just the same that a father that has this issue with their child uses a name that is typically a girl's name.

Perhaps he does not want to bring more attention to this than already exists. However, it is fairly mainstream and you can be certain that SDA bashers are running with this. In other words, this is not going away. Our leadership ( those who are the Lord's)  might as well go on the offensive and openly deal with this to the extent that they are able.  It's not going to be hid under a bushel.

There are some limitations even within higher up corporate leadership in terms of dealing with these things, but those limitations are not clothes pins on their lips. I could certainly see letting one isolated incident pass by without a presidential address, as long as it was being dealt with. However, there are now a hand full of very flagrant incidences involving pastors, elders, and now college presidents and even Unions. Are they waiting for this to go totally viral before it is addressed ? Why ? It is better to publically confess the problem and do all that can be done to remedy the problem than to ignore it and let the enemy parade it around and tell everyone this is being covered up.

This is why the SDA are coasting along on easy street all these years, they have become masters of hiding what needs to be said very openly. They don't want to ruffle feathers in anyway as evidenced by Jackson's joining with the world in his gun control comment. Sadly it seems the President has also been done in by PC. I surely hope I'm wrong and  hope the President is formulating how to handle the abomination problem and will take some kind of action soon.

It is a dangerous thing to soften the message. It makes me wonder if we cannot walk with men now how will we run with horses ? In other words, the pressure is relative low right now in terms of giving pointed truth. What will happen when to give the undiluted message will be at the loss of our lives ?

It is true that Lgbt takes advantage of WO. It can do so because WO is a break down, a weakness. There is just as much evidence in the Bible for WO as there is for acceptance of Lgbt. None. WO is a ground breaker for further diversion from the Bible. Lgbt is like a disease preying on a body that has been already weakened.
