Bouncing off the ceiling.
« on: September 30, 2016, 03:33:17 PM »
Our prayers will be largely ineffective, and in many cases, downright dangerous unless before we pray, as we pray, and after we pray we sit down with His Word and discover what God's will is in the particular thing that we are praying about.

There is another side of it though. Some people already know what the will of God is, but they are praying for just the opposite.

Our prayers are, in many cases, bouncing off the ceiling, not because we don't know what the will of God is, but because we are refusing to do it or are asking for a discount or an exemption.

I convicted that the purpose of prayer is to discover and do His will.

Prayer seems to be the heart to heart conversations with God that draw us closer, giving us the motives and ability to learn and know His will, and willingness and power to obey His will, and the stress relief valve from doing His will, and waiting for Him to lead further, as He breathes His life from above into us to grasp His mission as our own, as His mind and heart becomes ours.   I will part of the song around the great white throne for players here on Earth, but the abstainers will leave vacancies in crystal sea choir.  Before watching....Imagine the circumstances of all earth's mega cities.

Grateful for Psalms 32 and Titus 2:10 While it is true that God gives the message from Scripture and SOP. The taste I give to others about the message sells it or kills it, I learn to walk it well & cook it well & eat it myself, before I preach it.  Then the SDA message appeals by His righteousness.
