Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days:
for the child shall die an hundred years old
; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
the bolded part especially ... what do you think this means? Much of Isa 65 is about the new Jerusalem and the new earth but this part does not seem to fit that.. what do you think?

Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant <05764> of days <03117>, nor an old man <02205>
that hath not filled
<04390> (8762)
his days
<03117>: for the child <05288> shall die <04191> (8799) an hundred <03967> years <08141> old <01121>; but the sinner <02398> (8802) being an hundred <03967> years <08141> old <01121> shall be accursed <07043> (8792).
03967 מאה me’ah may-aw’ or מאיה me’yah may-yaw’ properly, a primitive numeral; a hundred; n f; {See TWOT on 1135}
AV-hundred 571, eleven hundred + 0505 3, hundredth 3, hundredfold 2, sixscore + 06242 1, hundred times 1; 581
1) hundred
1a) as simple number
1b) as part of larger number
1c) as a fraction-one one-hundredth (1/100)
Could it be that when the kid becomes a one hundred year old in Heaven he or she has moved beyond being a little kid ? No physical death in Heaven. "hath not filled his days" seems like a comparison / contrast . At age 13 a child ceases to be a little kid and becomes a teenager, in Heaven no inhabitant will ever fill up all his or her days - thanks to the tree of life.

Grateful for Psalms 32 and Titus 2:10 While it is true that God gives the message from Scripture and SOP. The taste I give to others about the message sells it or kills it, I learn to walk it well & cook it well & eat it myself, before I preach it. Then the SDA message appeals by His righteousness.

Isaiah was written before the exile.
It contains predictions of Israel being conquered, and exiled,
It contains predictions of the restoration to occur AFTER the exile when the Persians conquered the Babylonians and helped the Jews rebuild and re-establish.
Isaiah also wrote concerning the first advent of Christ.
Now we realize much of what he wrote also pertains to the last days and even to the earth made new.
The problem however is that his message does not neatly divide into folders marked according to dates for fulfillment. Thus we see things "mixed" --
Israel was given the Messianic promises concerning Christ's first advent.
What would Israel be like had they fully committed themselves to God and to His covenant after their captivity when they were being restored to their homeland -- what would Israel be like had they accepted the Messiah and His kingdom of grace (not yet the kingdom of glory).
Yes, someday God would create a new heavens and earth, but Israel could have experienced a period in which adherence to the laws of God and cooperation with the divine program would have largely banished sickness and premature death. They could have been a light upon the hill to which the Gentiles looked to find answers to their spiritual questions.

dedication... that seems to make sense to me...
the whole chapter jumps around from old to new... what you seem to be saying is that this was a conditional promise for old Israel if they were to follow God... as the text does say the 'child' will die...and we know that no one dies in the new earth...
thank you
