Your prayers have been answered!  Praise God!

Three months ago Wendell's oncologist had stopped his chemo treatments.  He was supposed to have the treatments for six months, but the doctor stopped them after four because Wendell was so anemic and weak, and had so many bad symptoms. After a second PET scan they found some lymph nodes were no longer cancerous, but one had grown and looked suspicious, which was unusual.  A biopsy was ordered on the lymph node, because the oncologist said this may indicate either an abscess or a more aggressive kind of Lymphoma.

We met with the oncologist last Friday to find out the results, and he said the results of the biopsy shows that Wendell does not have Lymphoma (or anything else)!  We asked him what was causing Wendell’s symptoms and weakness, thinking it must be something else going on, but the doctor assured us he is just feeling the effects of the chemo and it takes a while for someone his age to recover.  I asked why Wendell was suffering stomach pain, and what were the things that were glowing on his last PET scan, and he said that was dying Lymphoma. So no more treatments, no more chemo, just follow-up appointments to make sure the Lymphoma is in check.  So we are praising God tonight, and thanking God for you and for your prayers!    Love, Vicki and Wendell
