Husband and Brother
« on: November 22, 2018, 05:16:01 AM »
I ask for prayers for my brother, Bill, who is in critical condition at Florida Hospital.  We had a hopeful moment yesterday, but he had a severe setback.  Also prayer is requested for my husband, Wendell,  who has been battling an aggressive lymphoma for over a year.  May God's will be done.  Thank you all!

Sadly, my dear younger brother Bill passed away earlier this morning.  I will miss him terribly, but I look forward to seeing him again at the Resurrection when there is no more pain, suffering and death.

Prayers for you and your family, sorry for your loss.

Grateful for Psalms 32 and Titus 2:10 While it is true that God gives the message from Scripture and SOP. The taste I give to others about the message sells it or kills it, I learn to walk it well & cook it well & eat it myself, before I preach it.  Then the SDA message appeals by His righteousness.

"Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ." 2Cor 1-5.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Thess. 4:16

I pray that your husband is sustained - ...and that you and your family be comforted.

My dear husband Wendell died peacefully on Friday, Feb. 8, here at home.  It was somewhat expected, though we prayed so hard for healing.  But now He is sleeping and safe until the Resurrection.  How I miss him though.  We had almost 21 wonderful years together. It helps to know I will see him again, thanks to our Savior Jesus Christ.

So sorry to hear this Vicki.  When I was young, those who passed away were just names, and usually old people I didn't know.  Now, many of them are familiar to me, and younger than me.  An unfortunate fact of life in a sin sick world, but it's never easy.

Praying for you and you family.

Vicki,  very sorry about your loss.  Thankfully there is strength to endure in the Lord.
"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you." Isaiah 43:2

This sentiment by author unknown hit a chord in my heart.  Maybe you can relate also.
"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch...but little by little, we begin to remember not just that they died, but that they lived. And that their life gave us memories too beautiful to forget"
