My husband Wendell

I ask you all for prayer for my husband Wendell as we visit the doctor this morning in follow-up to his visit to ER last Sunday.  We’re still trying to find out what is wrong with him, but at this point it looks like he may have lymphoma, (don’t know what type).  All his symptoms point to it, though there is a slim possibility that it could be something else.  Wendell is an ex-SDA, but still loves and trusts the Lord.  He doesn’t attend any church or spend much time with the Bible, so the most important thing is that this experience will draw him even closer to the Lord and surrender completely to Him. May God’s will be done.  Thank you, all.  I appreciate you and know that prayer works!

Of course your desire would be for him to be healed, but it looks like your priorities are in order.  I have prayed for both of you.

Thank you, Tammy and others, so much for your prayers!  The doctor was kind this morning.  He said that more tests are needed and we still don’t have enough information yet to say what is wrong.  My first impulse was not to ask for prayers until after we knew for sure what the diagnosis is, but I just felt we needed prayer this morning.  I’ll keep you informed.  May God richly bless each one of you, and may we all keep our eyes on Jesus.

i believe that they have a clinic here in the states now in southern california

eden valley also has a way to battle this cancer successfully

Friday doctor told us it appears to be cancer and his lymph nodes are enlarged in the CAT scan, but Wendell still has to have a biopsy this week to find out the primary source/what kind of cancer it is.  We're trying to just take it a day at a time and rest in Jesus.  For sure it is bringing us closer to Him and to each other.  Thank you all for your prayers.

if the biopsy is to remove a lymph node from his leg, DON'T DO IT...they did that to my mother and she had swelling there for the rest of her life...never did drain right...it would be better to let the natural methods clear out the cancer and then have everything drain properly like it should be done naturally

The Lord has been so good to us, and He continues to uphold us in faith.  Wendell' s biopsy is today and ask for special prayer for him today.  This is scary because we don't know what the future holds, but then again, who ever knows what the future holds, right?!  He holds it in His hands.

Again, thank you for all your prayers!  We have a diagnosis - Follicular Lymphoma.  Next stop: Oncologist.  Please pray that we get a referral to the best physician for this type of illness.  We will be contacting some of the lifestyle centers, too, like Eden Valley, Weimar, etc. to find one to help give supporting treatment and information in treating this disease.

So sorry that Wendell is ill with Follicular Lymphoma! I know that you & Wendell will have many people praying for you both – that God will give you healing, faith, courage, & total trust in Him! He is a faithful & loving God who will never leave us alone!  We are praying that he is in an early stage of the disease & that it can be cured, or, if not, at least managed! We are praying also that God will prolong Wendel's life & give him many years to become reacquainted with a loving God that only wants what is best for His children! May God's blessing be upon you both!
